I was away all of last week. I'd decided to go on a bit of a road trip adventure through New England. It was the perfect time of year to go, because the leaves were changing and signs of fall were everywhere, (though it ended up being unseasonably warm and I didn't need all the sweaters I'd brought along!).
When I returned last weekend, I had a pile of work to get to. Deadlines that I'd been given a week or two to do had to be finished up in two or three days. It was a little stressful, but since I'd had such a great break, it was easy to get back in to the work with renewed vigour.
I'll have photos to share when I've gone through and edited them, and I'll have a ton of work to share as well. But in the meantime, I wanted to share one of my current favourite illustrators with you. I picked up a copy of The New Yorker a few weeks ago, and spotted one of John F Malta's illustrations. I'm always drawn to vibrant, graphic illustration, and his really caught my eye. You can see more of his work, here at his website.
